Calcutta Lightweight Aluminum Pliers are made from T6061 aircraft aluminum that is heat treated for unmatched strength. Each plier is machine cut on a CNC machine to precise tolerances. The jaws are made from a special Japanese SUS carbide tempered to a very hard 48 degrees for a longer cutting life. The jaws and bearing have been plated with a special "mirror coat" to help repel corrosion. Includes a sheath and lanyard. Replaceable jaws are available and come with heat treated #303 stainless screws and a tool for easy replacement.
